Our Pastors

John & Hannah Alarid

After years of heroin addiction, John Alarid had a life transforming encounter with Jesus in a solitary confinement cell at the state penitentiary in Santa Fe, NM. It was then that he was given a mandate to preach the gospel to the lost, the last, and the least.

Hannah was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and graduated from Teen Challenge program in Long Island, NY. She serves as the Creative Arts & Worship Pastor and is currently finishing up her degree in Music from Evangel University.

My Prison Became a Palace

A Book by John Alarid, Lead Pastor

This is the story of one man's journey from heroin addiction, crime, and prison to productive member of society, family man, community activist and pastor. After a spiritual awakening in a solitary confinement prison cell in Santa Fe, New Mexico, John completed advanced degrees in higher education with the support of a loving community. John came out of darkness into light. His story is an encouragement for anyone struggling with addiction or those who know someone that is addicted. A beautiful story of redemption and hope.
